GoFullPage Chrome Extension · Last updated: November 2, 2026

Summary: GoFullPage captures a full-page screenshot only when you ask it to. Captures and preferences are stored locally on your device. We do not sell your data.

1. Information the extension handles

When you use GoFullPage to capture a page, the extension may access the page URL, page title, and visible page content needed to create the screenshot. A screenshot can contain any information visible on the page you choose to capture.

The extension also stores your preferences, capture records, and image files locally in Chrome's extension storage on your device.

2. How we use information

We use page information and screenshot content solely to provide the full-page screenshot feature, including creating, displaying, editing, downloading, and managing your captures. The extension does not use this information for advertising, creditworthiness, lending, or unrelated profiling.

3. Analytics

GoFullPage uses Google Analytics to measure extension reliability and usage. Analytics events may include a randomly generated persistent client identifier, session information, extension page views, feature interactions, and technical error information. This helps us understand which extension features are used and identify reliability issues.

We do not sell analytics data. Google Analytics processes information under the Google Privacy Policy.

4. Welcome page

After installation and when Chrome starts, the extension may schedule a welcome page to open in a background tab after a short delay. It is limited to no more than once per local calendar day and does not intentionally change your active tab. The welcome page is hosted on Netlify and may process standard technical information, such as IP address and browser data, under its applicable privacy practices.

5. Sharing and transfers

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We do not transfer captured screenshots or page content to third parties as part of the extension's normal operation. Limited analytics information is transferred to Google Analytics as described above. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the security of the extension and its users.

6. Data retention and your choices

Your captures remain on your device until you delete them or remove the extension. You can delete saved captures through the extension's interface. Removing the extension removes its locally stored extension data from Chrome. You can also avoid creating captures of pages containing information you do not want stored locally.

7. Security

We use reasonable measures to protect information handled by the extension. No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Children's privacy

GoFullPage is not directed to children. Do not use the extension to capture or share personal information about children without appropriate authority and consent.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the extension's data practices change. The current version will always be available at this URL, and the “Last updated” date will show when it was most recently revised.
